I love being alive cells are the basic units of life

Cells are the basic units of life
They help me think and walk outside
They live and die and multiply
They'll be working when I'm sleeping tonight

Cells are small you cannot see them
They're held together by a thin membrane
Water is needed to help them function
Cells are working in the field of construction

Building - dividing
Repairing and dying
Moving - maintaining
Replacing and sometimes changing

Cell parts are floating in the cytoplasm
They work together and make reactions

The brain of the cell is the nucleus
Making DNA which makes all of us
